Fine for my Sprinter van but several people I chatted with were leaving because they couldn’t get into their assigned site. It’s really designed for tent campers, vans, and small trailers. Larger RVs need to go to sites 201-248. These are in the “RV Campground” out in the open meadow. These sites are also where the hookups are. No hookups in the tree loops. The forest here is spectacular with nice walking trails, clean toilets, and water spigots available every few sites.

My family took me here many summers in my childhood. This was my first time visiting in the spring and we got heavily rained on most of our visit, my only complaint is that the rain makes a lot of muck.
The trails we walked with our dogs were all lovely despite the mud. Many of our neighbors had dogs too, dogs that made me feel not so bad about my own dogs overprotectivly barking. It was good training opportunities for them after getting attacked by so many dogs at our old apartment.
The rangers and volunteers ect were very nice. A tree came down and punched a hole into the pavement near our site and the next day they were there fixing it all up.
Traffic flow through the sites was a little confusing at first due to some of the loops being closed, but is accessable.

The lake looked amazing ,but didn't spend much time there due to it being fall time. Also I have heard during the summer the have a beer garden ( will have to come back to check that out). Overall a great state park that we will be coming back to. We filmed a couple of videos here for our Youtube channel and also filmed a site by site review of the RV sites (we hope to get back to do the tent sites as well). - Unique Adventurez

Shade starts coming in around 2:30 as sun dips below trees on west. Park has designated swim areas no lifeguard though. The 66 acre lake has 4 or 5 varieties of fish. There are 3 group kitchens so would work as family reunion site. I didn't get all the amenities in the kitchens. Nicely marked trails are good way to help digest breakfast or lunch.
Site pads are paved and spacious. Grass is between sites but relies on rain to stay green. There is a sign posted at site 238 stating that it floods. Utilities were in good condition and fully functional. Sites are water/electric only. Dump station is easy access and was clean. It rained before we left and some sites had small amounts of standing water.

Does the job. Had a partial site, water and electricity. There's a dump station at the front of the campground. Easy to get to Olympia. It rained pretty heavily when I was there and the site flooded so I just stayed inside for a while.

Several pull through sites. Fairly private with tall tree and foliage, hooked up to water and electricity. Very family centric. Opportunities for bikes, trails, nature hikes, swimming, boating. Nice day use area with concession stand, dock, small beach, picnic tables.

It was a HOT weekend so I felt bad for the other RV'ers whose sites were in the center of the small look with no access to shade. If you visit this park in an RV in hot weather, aim for the sites on the outskirts of the loop for the shade. We would have enjoyed the tent sites even more, we'll be going back to explore again. COVID warning though, the tent sites are pretty close together so keeping distance might be a challenge.

Price is a bit high for partial (only 30A) hookups, but the beauty, size and conditions definitely make up for it. Numerous large pull through and back in sites, along with a lot of tent sites here. There's a dump station near entrance that is a bit tough to get a large rig as close to as usual, due to the right hand curve it's on.
Definitely worth spending some time here.

There were good sites unreserved when we arrived at 8:30PM and the one we chose had plenty of room for three tents—easily could have fit more. Kids played cheerfully but all was quiet a little after ten. No one played loud music, except some brave souls who left at 5:30AM. The bathrooms were fine and showers looked clean. I had Verizon service that worked well but I forgot to check how many bars. Definitely would recommend.
