June 13, 2021 7:30 pm Why haven't the washrooms and showers at the comfort station (near site 142) been cleaned in more than 12 hours? The men's bathroom, esp the the toilets and floor, are in bad shape (the toilet in the handicap stall has been plugged since at least 7 pm yesterday.) This was my second trip to Mikisew. I was camping in my Aliner with solar power. My previous trip was car camping with my backpacking tent in Sept 2015. Mikisew was originally a private campground that was taken over by Ontario Parks in the 60s. The sites nearest the lake are generally more private than those in the upper level. Ther... more

Overall Rating

Sites are spaced nicely apart and big. Nice clean bathrooms and showers but not a lot of them. Lots of families but not a lot of noise. Rangers at reception are very nice.
