McCormick Park Campground

This campground sits just below Brownlee Dam on the Snake River. There are approximately 25 camping sites that are situated in a gravel circle. It's basically a large gravel parking lot. There is no separation between sites and you may be parked directly next to your neighbor. There is a large grass area with mature trees that surround the parking circle. The area under the trees is a nice place to relax. We heard coyotes both nights we were there. This campground is a good place for fishing on the Snake River.

Each site has water and 30 amp electrical hookup, but no sewer. The campground does have a dump station. The first site we chose showed an open ground on our Electrical Management System (EMS), so we moved to a different site. Campground staff fixed the problem the next morning.

There was no Verizon service even with our booster, but we were able to make calls using our US Cellular phone. There was no US Cellular data service.
