Mayberry Campground

We enjoyed our stay at Mayberry Campground. Staff was very friendly, campground and showers and bathrooms are very clean. There’s a nice, clean laundry room with two washers and dryers. Many level hard gravel sites. Can accommodate any size camper. Great staff, very well maintained. Easy to get to. There is road noise because it is next to the highway.
All are full hookup sites.
Best RV park in the area!!!

Super clean, wide open and easy to navigate. Perfectly close to local Mayberry attractions and history. Great staff, and Early Sunday morning Bible study in the store was just great. Definitely coming again.

4 stars just because there isn’t any shade. Which is great for starlink, but it gets a little warm in the summer. Sites are large and easy to access, front desk and maintenance staff are super friendly and accommodating. Even though it fills up on weekends, it’s still fairly quiet. There is highway noise.

This is a cute RV park. The Starr is pleasant and you see them working hard throughout the park to keep it well maintained. The shot 5 minute drive to Mt. Airy, the home of Mayberry and Andy Griffith gives you several days of fun walking through this adorable town.

The park is lovely. Nice and green, most sites have sufficient space between them. We were in site 95 which was on the end and we had plenty of room. No online reservation, no one answering phone, after numerous emails, I only had a tentative reservation. I gave up and went to Pilot Mountain State Park instead. I was also worried about baking with no shade.

Staff was helpful. I stayed at site 95. The wifi there was fairly good. The site was level and accommodated my 41' 5th wheel.

The only trash cans were at the front of the park. This made it inconvenient cleaning up after my dogs.

The campground is right off the interstate. At times it was noisy, but overall not too bad.

Our stay here was fantastic! We stayed for 2 weeks and our site was level and the park was very clean. The staff was always accommodating and the scenery was great - we had a view of the pond. We would definitely recommend this place and will be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This is really a nice park except for the highway noise which we could hear inside too. The staff are great and it is so convenient to Mount Airy. We did walk around and found some sites with less highway noise. Sites 32-43 - the lowland sites. All the sites are nice. Some are closer to your neighbors than others. Our site was an end ... more
