This place was recommended by friends who had a good experience so we stopped here on The way to SD but when we arrived we realized that all the spots were occupied with what looked like semi permanent residents with grass growing up around their camper wheels. The sign mentioned dry camping but there was no indication of where that was. We stayed in the access road long enough to call Blue Mounds state park for a reservation and during that time our truck filled up with fifty files that annoyed us for several miles until we managed to chase them out of the cab. Why do they allow people to stay on a semi permanent basis and not leave spaces open for travelers?

Stopped for one night on my way to SD. Almost full of people staying seasonal. Just a couple of sites available. Poorly planned layout. Sites angled the wrong way, with no loop. I pulled in the grass across the road to back in my site, near the far end, and my neighbor spotted me in. I have a 19' travel trailer. Needed my 30amp extension cord because the power boxes aren't by every site. Sewer hookup is very close to my RV and water is on the wrong side. Confusing. Wi-Fi was decent. My cell service is Straight Talk and got 3 & 4 bars, sometimes LTE. Grass sites. They have a pile of crushed asphalt to gravel the campground, but my next door neighbor said they didn't get it laid before campers moved in. My site was surprisingly fairly level. Cash or check for payment. I wrote a check, but couldn't find anything that said who to make it out to. Left that blank. I didn't use the unisex restroom, but it looked clean. I walked around town. Didn't take long. Very tiny and smells like cows, tho I don't hear or see any. There is actually a small high school and tiny post office. I saw a tiny cafe, too, tho it was closed today (Sunday).

We stayed one night on our way through the area. It was easy access off I-90. We are in a 42’ 5th wheel and had no problems. They have approximately 8 sites but the water and electric are located at 3 spots so you would need an extension cord if you are a bit away from where the post is. Sewer is at every site. There is a dump located at the front of the park that could be used for $5 if you didn’t camp here. The camp sites are located in a small town park that was quite nice with a few playground pieces and some green space. There is also WiFi and it is reasonably fast and can support Hulu or YouTube. We called ahead and the camp host was very responsive and helpful. Nice place for an overnight or a few nights if you had something to do in the area.

We paid the $15, then discovered the bathroom was locked. We were in a tent and needed the bathroom. There should have been a sign indicating the bathroom was locked. I called City maintenance and was told the water was not turned on yet. Site small and crowded. We left without camping.

Two other rigs when I arrived. I backed in to the farthest north spot in the corner. Would have stayed for two nights, but had an appointment in Sioux Falls for my RV. 30 and 50 amp service, water, and dump station.

We loved it there. It was clean, quiet, all hookups for $15.00 a night and 6 miles from Luverne and Adrien, 35 miles from Sioux Falls, SD. A great place to just hang out but now is time to start heading to TX. THANK YOU MAGNOLIA for letting us enjoy your friendly town. ❤️❤️

We needed a spot just for the night while traveling and this place was great. Inexpensive, easy to find, and our kids enjoyed the park. We did not use the facilities so I cannot comment on those. Firewood bundles were available for $5. We are traveling in a 26ft motorhome.

Nice little city park close to I90 $15 a night. Clean, quiet, and well maintained. Returning from our Black Hills/National Grasslands boondocking trip. Batteries and water depleted so this place was perfect for some recharging. Water, electric,s sewer and free WiFi

This is a tiny “city” campground in Magnolia but we were the only campers here on a Wednesday night. The sites are all grass so it may be a little iffy if it rains a lot. No issues at all while we were here. Electric hookups and a nice view all for $10 a night. No complaints here!
