“Update To Say There Is A Dump Station”
Reviewed 8/5/2023
An earlier reviewer said there wasn’t a dump station. There is! It’s across the road from sites 12 & 13

There is a on site Dump station.
The site are mostly level and grass.. The middle sites 1-9 could be soft/muddy with lots of prior rain so be aware of the ground if you are a big rig and CHECK it out first..(tow bill)
Had to hit the mens bathroom when we arrived.. while not Hilton hotel quality it was not bad considering the cost.. The bath area was clean, the large double sinks were in excellent shape,, the two shower stalls looked clean with one being wheel chair accessible, both had a place to put your stuff, the toilet flushed etc.. overall not bad..
We were he on the way to Alaska from NC and to visit the Pipestone National Monument and head over the Teddy Roosevelt NP and this was a nice looking place with elec to stop for a couple day with some cooler weather during rain and overcast skies which make the solar not work so good.. :)
Just a couple more info facts... the elec was at 126v AC which is good, the water was tested at 289 TDS which is a bit high and water hardness was around 7 so not too bad..
We don't have kids but there is a nice playground and lots of place to walk the dogs around..
t mobile was weak with out booster.. ATT good with good speed to stream on netflix. IF in the area would stop back in..
ANOTHER plus,,if you are a disc golf person there is a nice course around the campground.. talked to a local that uses it a ton.. Me I am a stick golfer so my loss.. :)

Beautiful city park with $25 for fhu, $20 for w/e, $15 for dry. Registration is self-pay. Sites are on grass and mostly level. No problem for big rigs (we had no problem with our 40 ft MH and tow}. Depending on the number of rigs there, you may be able to pull thru on several sites but most are back-in. Clarification on fhu ... there are 8 fhu sites at the front of the park as you enter. They are arranged back to back with 4 on the front and 4 facing the other direction behind. The front 4 are 50 amp and the rear 4 are 30 amp. All hook ups are at the back of the site which required our sewer hose extension. The 8 w/e sites are on the perimeter of the park and are all 30 amp. We stayed mid week and the 4 front 50 amp sites were occupied (we got the last one), but all 30 amp fhu were available as well as the w/e sites. Happy Trails!

I was just passing through but was impressed with beautiful park. It had playground for kids and bike/walking paths surrounded by fields of groomed grass. The cost is $25 full hookups, $20 for electric/water and $15 to park with no hookups.
