Lazy D&D RV Resort

Awesome little campground in the peninsula!

Pros:
- every site overlooks a small canal that you can fish
- nice grassy area and playground for kid to play
- FHU
- pool
- laundry ($2.50/load)
- very laid back
- mostly quiet (we had loud neighbors on the weekend)
- grassy sites
- lots of room to park your vehicle

Cons:
- grass only sites could be a minus if you prefer a pad
- sites a little close together

Make sure you ride the free ferry to Galveston, we saw dolphins every time and tons of birds.

Not originally planning on staying here but a heavy fog diverted us in and it was perfect. Well maintained , all full hook up w/ 50 amp . A small new pool and 4 washer and dryer units also new .
Host not on site when arrived but there was a cell number to call, Dave picked right up and apologized for not being on site and guided us to a site . We didn’t pay until we left 2 days later.
Pretty little pond wrapping the grounds and every site is on water.
The ferry to Galveston is only 10 minutes away , it’s free and our 37’ fifth wheel was no problem .
