"Great, beautiful park at a wonderful price"

We arrived early, and I anticipated the place would look pretty ragged and shabby. Much to my pleasure the place is a little dream. The park is clean, has great views of the river, the lawn is mowed. Everything looks in good order. The local police officer came over and collected the $15 fee for the water and electric site, and was absolutely...

"Great for our weekend visit to the area! Convenient to major roadways! Close to Harrisburg and York, PA."

We had site 35. 30/50 amp electric only. Nice state park setting. Site 35 is near a bathhouse and small beach area at the lake (and small playground). Water spigot across the road. Site was very spacious and easily accessible with our 32ft Class C motorhome, car dolly and towed vehicle. Overall had a good experience. Only suggestion for...

"Popular Spot For A Good Reason "

Arrived early May. Snow still on the mountains and rainy on the flats. This is a very popular campground with good reason. Full view of the Tetons and incredible cell reception. Road in is decently easy. We arrived Saturday 10:30am and got a good spot for our 35ft class A. There were 2 spots open in our area and the tent area (sites 9&10) was...

"Beautiful Scenery"

We stayed in Mesquite site 79 which is the far end of the canyon. Site was nice with shade structure over picnic table. Great hiking trails. Beautiful location. Shower house was a bit old and tired. Some of the other campgrounds within the park are newer and probably nicer, but we liked our location with the canyon walls looming over us.
