Are the campsites big rig-friendly at Horseshoe Lake Recreation Site? I have a 28ft 5th wheel. Thanks!

Coming from the US we weren't sure what Canadian campgrounds would be like, but this one was the perfect way to begin travels in the Great White North. We wanted a spot within a couple hours' drive of the border crossing at Eastport Idaho/Kingsgate, BC., and this Provincial Recreation Area is not far from Cranbrook.
The website gives directions to the campground, but the turnoff onto Horseshoe Lake Road is easy to miss. The yellow sign is set back off the pavement aways and faces parallel to the road, not facing traffic.
Once you have gone a short distance down the (bumpy...take it slow) dirt road, there is a fork with no directional signage (the website says there is a road which loops around the lake, so we assumed this was it). We took the left fork, but the right one probably is the other end of the loop around the lake.
The loop is not quite wide enough for two vehicles to pass, so keep an eye out for oncoming. There are many places to set up camp all around the lake, just be aware that none of them are level. Some are fairly rutted and by the looks of a couple of spots, during very rainy weather the mud can get deep enough to get stuck in.
Every site we saw seemed to have a great view of both the lake and the mountains, all just at the edge of the tree line. Our cell signal was okay, better than we expected for being in the forest.
Our site was fantastic, and we would love to come back!

This recreation spot is a gem of a find. There are over 17 “developed” sites and numerous other spots to park. The developed sites have tables and fire pits.
There are many pit toilets in many locations.
There is great cell service as well.
I’m not sure what else to tell you about this amazing place!!
