“Disappointing”

Reviewed Jun 19, 2017

Overall Rating

At one time this was probably a nice RV park, but it did not look good during our stay. Many of the sites are occupied by permanent residents with RV's that look rough. Some have a lot of junk scattered around the site. There doesn't appear to be any rules to keep the sites clean and attractive. It's sad to see a place with such potential in a declining state. I've stayed at RV parks where there was a limit to the number of days that someone could stay. This made for a nice environment for folks who were interested in camping. The management at Holiday Farm has decided to make the park a permanent residential facility rather than a campground.

I saw an RV with a "No Trespassing" sign. In a campground, I'm accustomed to seeing signs that say "Welcome" and "Happy Camper". I saw a bumper sticker on a truck that said "Trailer Trash and proud of it".

If you rent a fire ring the firewood is included. However, the firewood is stored out in the open and becomes wet when it rains. This RV park is located on the west slopes of the Cascade Mountains where it rains a lot. The firewood should be covered. I'm glad I brought my own dry wood.

The RV park is quiet with the exception of road noise from Highway 126.

Henry B would stay here again

“Beautiful park, large spots”

Reviewed Apr 22, 2017

Overall Rating

This is a gem. The spots are large and in heavy trees. The park is well-kept. There are games such as ladder golf and croquet available. There is a little island on a pond where you can have campfires, and another spot for group campfires. The park is very quiet. There is whitewater rafting nearby.

I could stay at this park a very long time, it feels very homey. It seems like many of the people there did just that, in fact.
