The Colby RV Park provided us with a great overnight visit while enroute on I-70 in western KS. No issues to speak of. Graveled site was nearly level. Could hear the interstate traffic to the south, but the level did not bother either of us. East of and across the street from the Walmart.

As stated in other reviews, Lost Moose Campground is a hidden gem tucked 8 miles off of I-90. This campground was clean and well-maintained, and the owners were extremely pleasant and friendly. We stayed here to visit the Great Sand Dunes on our way elsewhere. The sites were gravel but it was immaculately groomed (dragged at least daily). The campground was very clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Spruce Lake. The park itself is located just a few miles from the Beaver Meadows entrance to RMNP. There is a river (the Big Thompson, I believe) that edges part of the park. We weren’t close enough to be able to hear the river from our site, but we did go sit by the river some. Nice clean campground, sun exposed on most of the sites. Off the highway but quiet. Moose are in the area so be aware in the early mornings . Easy access to most hiking trails
