We were at site 42 (thanks to someone here’s recommendation) it was the best site because there was no one on one side and the view of the ocean was spectacular. There are trails all over that allow you to explore the incredible coastline, whales spouting and seals playing in the bay. The town is just a 5 min walk or bike ride so it’s very easy to explore. There a restaurant 2 mins walk where we are and ordered dessert one night too. The showers are simple but clean and we had them to our self. The other sites are a bit tight but overall the ocean views and cliff access, along with proximity to town made it excellent.

Be aware, Highway 1 from Leggett to Fort Bragg is NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLY. A large sign at the beginning says no rigs longer than 40 feet. I would recommend no longer than 30 feet because of some hair pin curves. The park is located in the city of Fort Bragg. The park is located in the city of Fort Bragg. We chose it for it’s location and views of the ocean which were amazing.. There is pavement all the way until you are in the park. Signage is adequate. Check in did not exist. We arrived mid week at 3:15 PM. The office closes at 3:00PM. There were directions showing available sites and to fill out an envelope include payment. We arrived during poring rain. The Campground Map is poor and the sites not well marked. We chose an empty site that was gravel based and not a grass mud pit. Fortunately it was available. The interior roads are sparse gravel and not in great shape. We never received any contact what so ever from the park operators. Our VISA payment was processed early the next morning. We were never give a wifi code or even a thanks for coming.
Our site, 31, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left side. Distancing is poor even for an urban park. NO sites had a vegetation privacy barrier. There were NO Tables or Fire Pits which made swnse because there was NO ROOM to put them there.. Overall, it appears that the park was an afterthought because space was available after the mobile home park was filled.
There is NO park included wifi or cable TV. We did find a cable connection but no channels were found. There were a few OTA channel but no major networks. Satellite would not be difficult. We did not use the washrooms or showers nor could we check them as we were never given any codes.
Part of our wanting to visit the Fort Bragg area is because of the world famous Glass Beach. Be aware that it has been picked pretty clean. One almost needs tweezers to pick up any of the remaining sea glass.
Needless to say we were pretty disappointed with the whole Fort Bragg experience except for the Noyo River Grill that is next door the the RV Park. We had a delicious meal that was reasonably priced and the service was excellent/
We paid $48.00 per night and feel we had probably the worst stay in all of our years RVing. We will never be back

The sites were a mix of gravel/grass and were level. They were extremely close together, with maybe a foot of clearance to our neighbors awning. No issues with power or water.
The laundry room is out of commission for renovations. The main redeeming factor for this place is that it's adjacent to the Pomo Bluffs Park with a walking trail along the oceanside cliff. The unobstructed ocean view was nice as well and prevented a 2 star rating.
No noticeable road noise.

The views are spectacular! The sites are nice and flat, bathrooms are average (very small shower stalls) but clean. No laundry facilities. Excellent cell service. Didn’t use the WiFi so I can’t comment on that. There isn’t much signage, so you really have to pay close attention to your gps, it’s easy to miss. Overall wonderful stay!

Good location if Ft Bragg is your destination, but definitely not a destination of itself. Close to to everything in town. Campground sits above the mouth of the Noyo River outlet to the Bay. Super beautiful coast. There are nice walking trails from the campground out to a park at the headlands. The campground itself is super basic. There are onsite hookups and dump, but sites are smashed together. No trees or vegetation; kinda rough for a spot that can get blasted by wind. Staff was not friendly or helpful. Our neighbors had the same experience. Wifi was super spotty, but there was solid cell (T-Mobile). Pretty close to Highway 1 and bridge to hear the coal rollers announce themselves. Again, if Ft. Bragg is your destination, this place will do. But if the Mendocino area in general is your destination it may be better to look for a different park.

If you grab one of the sites in the very western edge do you have a great view overlooking the cliffs and the Pacific ocean. Other than that this campground is not much in regards to amenities or even location. Great for a 1 or 2 night stay.

This little park only has 30 spots, and not much in the way of amenities, but it's right on the cliffs overlooking the ocean with a great walking path right out front. Best views are from sites 49-58.
