"Last Choice Only"

This would be a one star if it was not for the outstanding staff who were quick to respond to emails and phone messages about availability. 2024 prices are $45 per night no hookups (crazy right?) and $60 a night for electric and water. I believe this is regardless if an event is taking place at the fair or not. Near the main entrance is a row of...

"Great Place "

Only needed water and trash disposal. There is a dump station too. May camp there next time I come thru. Friendly and close to the campground I am camped at. I’m so glad that I have a military ID. The campground is clean and easy to find.

The FHU loop looks like a soccer pitch, no shade and sites very close together. There’s little adherence to vehicle and people limits/site. The other loops with a mix of electric and no hook ups are more natural with shade and...

Per a few other reviewers, there are two places to camp. After you pass through the gate, remembering to close it behind you, you will see a fork. It goes left and right. To the right it's safe for larger rigs. Class A, C, so on. If you go left, you'll want to take note, for about .50 to .75 miles you are going to be navigating in...

"Steep And Rocky "

It is steep and rocky but it is doable in a minivan or car. We were in a 4x4 converted ambulance so we had no problem. There was a few other people that drove by. There’s also an elk viewing area up at the top. One small fire ring. No water and no facilities here. There is a beautiful view of the sky for Starlink. I did have 3-4 bars of Verizon...
