What looked like an idyllic, quiet city park turned out to be a noisy, frustrating place. At 8:30 am, a front loader began racing up and down the dirt streets, stirring up dust as they continuously loaded and unloaded dirt and sand. The town’s construction Dump is 20 feet from The 2-site Campground. There is an electric box, no electricity yet. Cost $10 a night. This seems like a. We venture for Glenvil and they have a ways to go before being the kind of Host-site I believe they want to be.
The odor pollution from nearby agri-business cattle and possibly hog feed-lots is overwhelming, especially at night. I realize Glenvil has little say in this—it’s a state problem that is continually being litigated by rural communities. Perhaps they could file a suit.
