Totally jammed on a hot Saturday in Mid july. Im a Mountain biker So I wanted to check out the surrounding trails. Decided to go on a ride and wait for a site to open up. Ultimately one did open up but decided not to stay. There is nothing redeeming about this campground it is just a campground in the forest. No views or especially unique scenery around. It is extremely dry in this area and the trails are all overused by motorcycles. No hookups. No cell service. Lots of rv campers sitting staring at each other. Seems like an odd place for a campground as unless you have a dirtbike there is really nothing to do. Some folks were hiking but really not worth it.
