Nice 8 spot BLM campground right on the river. Entrance off Hwy 149 is a bit bumpy but nothing horrible.. just go slow.. The entrance is at a pullover with info boards you see. The price is now $10 per night ,, less with park passes shown. spots 6-7 could get a 30 ft in,,, 8 maybe 25 ft and for sure anything smaller,, van, MH,,...

Paid more than I'd hoped. With a senior discount it was still $49 a night. VERY close to I-40, so quite noisy. It was blazing hot when I was here, so the pool felt very nice. Friendly staff

OK so as has been mentioned previously the campground is clean, some of the sites are crowded together (5 thru 8), and site 11 has the best exposure for solar panels. Very friendly staff, clean park, family and pet friendly, close to shopping and restaurants. No bathhouse but no big deal for me. Laundry and store in the front. Year round and if you stay long term you get a physical address with a mail box.

This is an all around great state park. Trees, open spaces, trails to hike or bike, the beach! Bike rentals, a pool, spring flowers, birds, a coffee shop and camp store.
