Is there any wiggle room on the “combined under 30 ft” sites? Trailer is 16 ft, truck is 19 ft.

Nice to be in the center of Yellowstone! Book in advance as it fills up. There is also a shower you can use. We got 2 free passes to use it for the night otherwise you can also pay. They're very nice showers for a campground. Only downside is it is $112 a night. But there are full hookups and you're in the middle of the park.

We arrived before check in time, and they were able to get us in our site right away. Temperatures were predicted to be below freezing at night during our stay, so they gave us a sheet with tips and tricks for dealing with that. We were in Loop E, 167. All loop E sites are pull through with level paved pads and plenty of room between sites. Ours was double wide, which was nice, but not all sites are extra wide. The park is “naturescaped”, which means knee high grass in any area that is not paved. Loop E has very few trees, so summer would be brutal. We had no issues with water or electric, but several of our neighbors had problems. The water is very high pressure, so have a regulator. The guy across the way didn’t and burst his pipes when he turned on the water. Electric also glitched for the 50 amp rigs - extension cords, adaptors, and surge protectors are a good idea. We had a small herd of mule deer in our area of the park, rumor had it there is a resident bison, and we saw a grizzly within a mile of the park, so be aware. If you travel with dogs, they will be barking, so leave them home, please.

With other campgrounds in the park, being so much more beautiful and affordable, we will avoid this one in the future and let the big rigs have it.

However, we didn't expect the nearly 2-hour drive to get there once past West Yellowstone. Not the park's fault; our own fault for not realizing it when we booked. That's the sole reason we would not stay again.
Level site, lovely atmosphere, and great location for Hayden Valley wildlife viewing. Convenience store just outside the campground was handy. With the roads still under construction, we didn't make the full loop down to Old Faithful (have visited before). Would absolutely have done it had there not been delays, so it won't be an issue once construction is done.
Really loved the campground, just didn't love the drive to get to it. Starlink worked perfectly.

When it would get above 77, our surge protector would trip because of low voltage at the post. The staff said that a lot of people were having this experience in the campground.
With a 40+ foot rig, and the need for full services (yes need, not want), it was the only place in the park we could stay. We could have paid less for less than full services or 30 amp at a different campground. We ended up not using one of our acs and sometimes using the 30 amp outlet instead of using the 50 amp.
It’s Yellowstone, so, we would have probably have ignored the reviews, but i think it’s good to know before you go.
FYI:
Loop E is the newer part of Fishing Bridge with long paved sites and few trees, but the sites have a mountain meadow feel. The other loops in Fishing Bridge and have gravel sites, and are closer together but have mature trees in and around the sites.

The staff and the facilities are top notch. The camping spots are right on top of each other. Just like everything else at Yellowstone people every were. It is the smallest RV site that I have ever been to. People right next to you and behind you, can't get away from them.

I was excited to get a spot here during a last-minute trip to Yellowstone, but we were disappointed after seeing the campground. There are no trees whatsoever. It's a big cleared lot with a bunch of RV's parked close to each other - just row after row of RV's. I think there were 2 restroom facilities for the entire RV park. Granted, we all have our own bathrooms, but some RV's (and tank capacities) are smaller than others, so it's nice to have bathroom facilities available. For the price, you also were restricted to 2 showers daily, then you had to pay for additional showers. The bathroom facilities and showers in the main building were very nice, however it was quite a hike to get to from most of the RV sites. There were ample laundry machines available in the main building, which we didn't utilize but you won't have any trouble finding a machine here. I was not aware of any hiking trails accessible from the campground itself. I believe you had to start out from the front of the Fishing Bridge area to access any trails. There also didn't seem to be any maintenance to the RV parking area. There were small rocky bits of ground between each RV that were becoming overrun with weeds. Not much grass around to walk your dog. And the lack of trees was really disappointing, considering you are in Yellowstone. Overall we were not impressed for $99 a night.

Good place to camp to go see the park. We were able to do it all except Mammoth, but we did drive through there on our way out.
The only gripe we had was there was really no place to park your truck if you have a big rig.
Our camper is 34 foot, and we have a diesel truck, so it was tight.
Nice people running the park, no fires, though.
All in all we like it a lot.

I asked why I cannot get a spot on Lot E, the manager said the lot E reserved for size over 40ft. Because I am having a 30ft, she has to put me on smaller lot. BUT, I drove up there and saw many small trailers there. I can say the management of Fishing River is NOT professional.
2022- 30ft airstream
2022 - super duty.
see pictures. I have no space for any outdoor rooms. I can only open one side of my truck, the other side being blocked by a tree.

We were in loop E, FHU, spacious, very clean, bathrooms are nice, showers are at the registration center, the laundry is fantastic, 24 washers and 24 dryers. Water pressure was a little high so get a regulator.
We had a Bison walk right by the trailer, like 5 feet away. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, they do make rounds. Super nice! Worth every penny it cost.
Our stay was 6 complete days, out on day 7. We made it to every section of the park. There is a lot of people and animals! it can be slow, we recommend focus on an area each day, don’t try to drive everywhere. During the visit, we saw grizzlies, black bears, both had cubs, wolves, Elk, Deer, Pronghorn, Beaver, Great Horned Owl, Mountain Goats (on beartooth highway drive), Big Horn sheep and of course Bison. One word is MAGNIFICENT!
