Overall Rating

We stayed at Eagle Point Campground right after it had opened for the season. It's right on the lake and the sites are very big... some are HUGE. The lake is popular with boaters and swimmers.

All sites are 30 amp but power is strong and stable. Water and a dump station are available. There is a shower facility that is clean and has good pressure. It isn't fancy but it's definitely nicer than a lot we've used.

A few things could have been done to improve it like mowing the grass but nothing that would stop us from coming again. Beware of ticks! We found at least one on each of us every night. Use bug spray and use plenty.

Cell service with T-Mobile doesn't exist. AT&T had about 3 bars boosted and switched between 1 bar LTE and 4g unboosted. I heard that Verizon was better but not sure. This campground is about a 30 minute drive to Salina and is a good ways "out there" so stock up before going. Especially on things like soft drinks because there aren't any close convenience stores.
