“Decent place but no road for faint of heart”

This is a really decent place, well at least the spot where I camped. I went all the way to the end and there was some trash there, which can be spot but would need a 4×4 truck to get to it unless you park and walk. I couldn't camp directly on the water as I would've liked but still a quiet nice place. There are no defined sites, just spots where you kinda have to pull into and make a spot to camp, if not on the water. The road going in/out can make some fearful to travel but others had cars that went in/out. The road didn't appear to be regularly maintained and its muddy gravel. My wife was afraid we was gonna get stuck but I had no issues and left my truck in 2wd. I also don't see any sort of trailers making it and being able to maneuver back out without some serious wheel work and no real place to back one up.

“Awesome dispersed camping right on the water”

Nice dispersed camping; we found a level spot right on the water. The gravel road in was well maintained. This place is good for tent campers, car/van campers, and small adventure trailers. NOT RVs (nowhere to turnaround). We saw gnats but they didn’t bother us at all. A bit trashy but was fine once we cleaned it up. No amenities, 2 bars AT&T LTE, didn’t need the booster, good place to put in kayaks. Sketchy for Solar (lots of shade) and lots of boat activity on the water (pontoon boats, jet skis, power boats) so it can be a bit noisy. Probably very busy on weekends; saw 1 other group camping (arrived on a Wednesday). Also, because there are no defined sites, there’s a potential for folks to pack in around you, so could be ideal for small groups. Would definitely come back! Camping limited to 14 days.
