We arrived on a Sunday night. The staff texted us in the morning to let us know that was stone oven pizza night with Nic. We could preorder. Amazing!
We came back 2 nights later after off the grid and the showers were amazing. Super clean and like a great hotel. The view from the luxury sites is uninterrupted!

We stayed here in our 38' motorcoach. The sites were easy to navigate, level, hook ups were easy, each site had a table, a small table and two logs as seats and a propane firepit (you must supply the propane). We stayed here in our 38' motorcoach. The sites were easy to navigate, level, hook ups were easy, each site had a table, a small table and two logs as seats and a propane firepit (you must supply the propane). The bathrooms were heated and had indoor and outdoor showers. The floors were also heated. All decor was very cute, original and made to feel warm and homey. The camp store and adjoining seating area were perfect with gas firetables and comfy chairs and cushions. Lots of outdoor games and an outdoor kitchen you could use including a pizza oven! The term boutique campground really fits with only 20 premium rv sites and a handful of very nice van or tent sites. I could not decide what to review first the campground or the staff. The staff was top notch with the owners stopping by, giving you tour info and inviting you to the weekly pizza night or social. We were their 5 nights and met all the owners and their camp hosts, everyone was super friendly and helpful. I can't wait to come back!!

This review is about my stay in the Camp Luxury area. The booking map indicates a nearby bath house with restrooms and shower. In reality there is only an unfinished shell for a future bath house. This review is about my stay in the Camp Luxury area. The booking map indicates a nearby bath house with restrooms and shower. In reality there is only an unfinished shell for a future bath house. It was nice to have a hand built shade shelter and table. The chaise lounges were a nice touch, however, when I used one to enjoy the sunset I could hear my neighbors talking because the site was so close. Overall it was a poor value and not luxurious.

Dark Sky RV Campground is a very well designed and thought out campground for RV’s. The sites are very large and well spaced from your neighbors. The owners and camp hosts are super friendly and helpful with whatever you need. The check in process is very easy with a text the day before and you just drive up to your site. It’s also very kid and pet friendly as there’s a dog park and a zip line and dig pit for the kids. Very nice bathrooms/showers and laundry room. I would highly recommend Dark Sky and we will definitely be back again!

Site #14 was an inside ring site. Although spacious and not really that bad, would prefer outer ring. All sites and facilities are well maintained and clean. There are only 2 bathrooms, but it never felt too busy. And the bathrooms have a good funky vibe to them with even an outdoor shower. I loved that there was an honor system laundry area. The community area was well designed and even lets you use an Ooni Pizza oven.
Loved the off leash area for dogs in the back of the property.

Good place for night photography during new moon. Had only some low clouds, but got a few good pics.
After seeing the other campgrounds closer to Kanab, this is definitely the best location.

By far a jewel in the high desert of Utah. Small park outside Kanab, clean and done right. Great atmosphere and friendly hosts. Honor system services (small store and laundry) and, yes, awesome showers! Could use a stool in the shower and the sites are a bit narrow for getting slide out/use of outdoor space. We have been all over the country, generally can’t stand rv parks. But this one. Wow. Wow. Wow. It’s awesome. Great location great owners. Awesome amenities. And those bathrooms! I wish more owners would follow these guy’s example. Truly pro’s at what they do!
