Crystal Lake RV Park

stayed for one night going home as other locations we wanted had been booked. I wish I could rate it higher than 3 stars. overall it was ok nothing special. Bathrooms were heated and clean no complaints on that end. It was just expensive. Other campgrounds just charge a night fee or discount it if you arrive late. it’s $12 for an extra person, 2 adults per site anyone else is extra. Seems kinda extreme for a night. I get some locations have additional charges for people but $12 is a lot, most I’ve seen is $3-5. Hook ups and pull through sites were nice and level and overall was pretty quiet. I did see a pond looking area for swimming during summer season but I saw online that is extra too per person as if your nightly fee isn’t a lot to begin with…I feel like this campground in summer would cost an arm and leg. I’d rate it higher as the sites itself and location was easy to find and bathrooms were nice and tidy but the $12 extra per person charge rubbed me the wrong way.

We stayed here August 2020. They have a man made lake that per the marketing looks like its pretty busy when allowed to be open. They had go karts, not open due to Covid which was fine by us. We're not fans of screaming kids. It was very clean, spots well maintained. We are full timers, used the laundry and restrooms. Wifi is one of my primary focuses when booking a site. The first day had issues with connectivity but remaining days were good. Good cell reception. Friendly staff
