Cracker Barrel

I stayed here on an overnight en route to Georgia during a cold snap. When I pulled in, I called to notify them that I was in one of the dedicated RV spots and they said “no problem!”. I ordered a meal online and then realized I needed to ask permission to use my on board generator since it was dipping well below freezing that night (I have solar but there was zero sun and the furnace depleted my batteries pretty quickly). The young lady who was the retail manager told me she needed to ask her GM but she misunderstood me and offered me a plug into the building! How very kind of them to offer that. Although I obviously didn’t need it, I was taken back at the gesture. The outside spots are wonky and not quite level, so find one in the middle of the RV spots if you are able. Good grass strip nearby for your pets. Some road noise as it’s very close to the Insterstate, but overall a nice, easy and pleasant overnight. Will definitely stay again.
