We chanced upon this site a few days ago while driving from Chimayo towards Santa Fe. Each if the sites were nestled off the road and some with more access to the river than others. One set of bathrooms—cinnamon smelling pit toilets and standard picnic table/fire ring with each site. Site #1 is a leveland gravel site, large enough for a pull around of a 15-20ft car+trailer. Large trailer could back in as well. We were there Friday night and there must have been a fun buggy corral up the hill, with lots go cars headed up the mountain. Peaceful otherwise and once traffic dies down now different than any other camp ground. Negative? No signal.

We intended to stay at the Santa Barbara Campground but was unfortunately closed when we arrived. We turned around and headed back East along the highway as we had seen a campsite along the main road.
This site is free. It looks as though it used to have an honesty box but has since been taken away.
It had some beautiful scenery but was littered with rubbish everywhere. Toilets were locked for the season.
