We opted for a water/electric site.
There is some road noise, which is the tradeoff for easy access. The sites are about what you would expect from a KOA. I didn't feel like I was right on top of my neighbors.

Nice place. The sites for RV are a bit tight but manageable( especially the pull thru sites). The shower and restroom smelled of bleach which tells me they are clean. I would say they had the cleanest restrooms I have ever used in a campsite. Owners are nice and very accommodating. Location from I-25 is a bit out of the way, but we... more

It is right by the interstate but we didn't hear the travel noise. We heard a few trains, but not to the point that it bothered us. Convenient and clean place to stay in Cheyenne. Our site was big enough to fit our second car. Very close to the Sierra Trading Post company store!

Stayed for two nights during a stopover between Custer, SD and Colorado Springs, CO. The entire RV section of the campground is gravel with fairly level sites, but the borders of the campground have grass and bushes for walking your dogs. And quite a few rabbits and prairie dogs (at least while we were there): I joked with the staff that those should be listed as amenities for canine guests. There is a typical KOA fenced in dog park but it’s fairly small.
In addition to the standard playground and pool, the campground also has the smallest mini-golf course I’ve ever seen, a basketball hoop, and a horseshoe pit.
The cell service was decent. I got 14Mbps down and 15Mbps up with my Verizon hotspot and MIMO antenna, while my AT&T phone was getting 25Mbps down and 5Mbps up. I did see the Verizon bandwidth drop as the campground filled up: the campground was pretty full both nights we were there.
The highway is visible from the campground so there is road noise, but it wasn’t bad. There are a few trees here and there, but otherwise there is no shade, so it can get quite warm in the summer.

Had a great end of the row pull thru site for our RV (F350 4dr full box with 33’ 5th wheel). We had full hook ups and great free WiFi. Hosts were great with a well stocked little store. Got here late so wasn’t able to use pool or mini golf. I’d definitely stay here again.

Easy pull-through sites, tho no real markings, can be a negative when someone has their rig pulled far out into what should clearly be a driving lane. Owners pleasant and accommodating. Pool in early July warm and clean. Showers small but clean and limitless hot water, so 5 stars there. Had to stop several days for decent internet to work and very good Verizon coverage. Also WIFi during non-peak times 10-15 MBPS down, so adequate. Just off I-80 so there is definitely constant road noise when you are outside.
