Great stopover on the way to the National Parks. Clean, level FHU sites with nice showers, a sparkling little pool, and right next to Camping World for any last minute necessities. A bit of highway noise, but we were not bothered. Site 11 has a nice tree, if you can snag that site.

Only issue was wifi quality that wasn't great but cell service was acceptable. Not the quietest location but very clean and friendly staff. Rates higher during Cheyenne frontier days (CFD)

You are near the interstate so there is road noise but if you’re AC or fan is running you can’t hear it in your camper.

First impressions are important. We arrived around 5 to be fifth in line to check-in. Watched a DP pull in behind us. Unbelievably, he decided he was going to ‘take cuts’. Escorted to our pull thru (the guide & I joked about inconsiderate guests) to find what turned out to be 4 groups traveling together, all mildly intoxicated, right next to us. I avoid KOA’s (kids all over) but I have to admit the laughter of children beats the cackle of inebriated old women. (The group actually wasn’t so bad. Talking went on until after 10, but so did my TV. And the nearby freeway noise certainly helped mask it.) My lousy first impressions, based solely on the other guests, further deteriorated when I tried to use the internet to check the weather - just as bad at 10 the next morning! The hills in the distance are beautiful - appear to be grasslands. The park is gravel everywhere - what I’d expect in a desert environment. Our second night’s neighbors were all great. We needed a safe, quiet place place to park the rig. This KOA did provide that, for at least one night. First impressions aside, this is a good home base from which to visit Cheyenne. The primary access road is terrible. I would strongly urge you go up to the light at Venture Rd. taking it to Hutchins Rd to the KOA. Familiarize yourself with this on your GPS.

For example, we needed to stay in town for work and have network access, and we're on a 30 amp with no sewer and it's $52 a night.
I don't fault the place or the owners for that. It's been almost full to the brim every night we've been here. So hey, if you're full, raise the prices and take the money. If you're needing an escape from the heat or laundry, a night isn't terrible. But if you're just driving through and can dry camp, there's plenty of places in town like the Sapp Bros. station, the Pilot station, a Walmart...
Only major complaint is the noise at this location. We're directly sandwiched by I-80 with no protective tree cover, a construction zone for a new warehouse, a repair facility for Volvo trucks, and the main transcontinental line of Union Pacific. Some trees would provide some desperately needed shade and noise reduction.

Broad, open park easily navigated with level gravel sites. Not a lot of trees, and the cable TV was unusable. The folks I talked to that worked there said the new owners were looking to refurbish and update some of the facilities, so hope that will come true.

Pretty full. No full hook ups left. Took a water/electric site. But we could use the dump. Only staying one night, so that was fine.
Very nice folks. Took us to our spot. Gravel and level. Infrastructure was excellent. Like new. Used the very clean laundry. Everything was very well maintained throughout. Used the WIFI.
Near I80 and the railroad. But reasonably quiet nonetheless. They have pool, putt/par, and covered area for dinners. Showers and restrooms available, but we had our own.
In the morning, we dumped our tanks, filled up the propane bottle, and headed out. This was the nicest KOA we have seen so far.
We’ll be back on another loop.

We opted for a water/electric site.
There is some road noise, which is the tradeoff for easy access. The sites are about what you would expect from a KOA. I didn't feel like I was right on top of my neighbors.
