Overall Rating

Small campground. Though you cannot have your ATV's unloaded or used within the campground there is a nice staging area outside the campground and forest roads to ride it. The only actual ATV trail in this area though is West Fish Creek and would require trailering too unless you only wanted to ride forest roads, then there is a good long distance Forest Road the travels beyond the campground a good ways out.

Overall Rating

This is a National Forest CG so it is site specific, not dispersed. There is one vault toilet but no hookups or trash receptacles. Normal 1 night fee is $10 or $5 with a Senior Access Pass.

Stayed 1 night and it was quiet and beautiful. The road in had 2 potholes side by side at the truck's track width. They were filled with water so they just looked like tiny puddles. However, it felt like they were 10 inches deep by the jolt to the truck as we passed over them ..... the video doesn't do the event justice. The road in was quite lengthy and also poorly marked and a bit difficult to follow (minus the 1 star).The small man made reservoir is beautiful but looks like the soft bottom would make swimming an icky procedure.
