Very much off the beaten path. No stores or restaurants nearby - must go at least 30 mins to Yampa if looking for any services. Oak Creek is about 40 minutes away. Dispersed camping free of charge off HWY 134. Has a vault toilet.

Not great for campers or trailers - the sites are just big enough for one tent and one car. There is however some good dispersed camping on the way into the campground a few miles before hitting the reservoir and dam.
