This RV campground is hard to beat. Level gravel sites with full hookups. Strong wireless internet. Campground host was super. He came out to greet me even though I arrived after the office was closed. Laundry and bathrooms were in great shape. Showers were totally private and clean. Not far from the interstate but also fairly quiet.

Great place to stay. Peaceful, scenic, well kept.

We definitely will stay here again. As we were setting up our site a gentleman came and gave us a letter from the local police station telling us the camp rules. They also mentioned in the letter to contact the station if there were any problems. That made feel welcomed and safe.

You check in at the gas station. That’s a first. Road to the park has a bunch of pot holes so be careful. Also very tight road to the park. There are two playgrounds one old one new. Didn’t use any of the facilities or laundry. Sites are spaced apart.

We stayed the limit of 8 days in MAY 2024. The road in and those around the refuge were in decent shape, a few washboards here and there but not bad. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and only had the choice of three spots. During our stay, many people came in and stayed just over night, but most nights the camp was 75%-90% full even mid week. I...
