Easy to find right on a state highway, good roads, easy navigation, lots of activities with hike/bike trails for all abilities. Visitor Center staff was great, I was in and out for check in quickly. RV sites are close together. If privacy is important to you, go someplace else.
Views are not spectacular by Wyoming standards but flatlanders will love it.

Site was on a slight slope, partial shade was a really small tree that provided no shade. Lots of activity. Great place for families. Kayak and canoe rentals. Great bike trails and walking trails. Had roaming phone and data coverage but not enough for good streaming

Overall Rating
We stayed just 2 nights but could have enjoyed ourselves for a week or more. Great access to the reservoir and seemed like an excellent place to fish. Site was not level and had to negotiate the rig a bit to find the right spot. I heard it’s the gem of WY and I believe it. Very beautiful and serene. Electric only.
