Although I don’t think anyone of the reviewers have mentioned this before but we were surprised that most people turned off their generators by about 10 PM. It was a sweltering night and we were glad we had our battery operated fans. Great deal at five dollars to jump in to get water. There’s no charge for water. It’s right by the dump station and there’s also dog kennels. If you go to the far corner of the lot through the trees there is a great walking/biking trail. We would definitely stay here again although we would take into account the weather as we wish we could have had electricity to run our AC at night. Only about four or five lot rigs in the lot one looked like it had been there for a while. The police did come in the morning and just check things out and possibly write down license plate numbers?? I’m not sure what they were doing. We highly recommend this spot and that you stop in at Cabela’s as they offer these great services for us our beers. There is a separate lock for semi trucks than the RVs. There is plenty of parking for everyone. There is a little bit of road noise but it seem to calm down in the evening. Pull in the first driveway that you see to the left and continue to the left around the building and you’ll see the signs and possibly other RVs. First she will come to the lot for semi trucks go past that and then you’ll see the lot for RV’s.

We would definitely stay here again! Separate area for RV parking. Quiet, level, great walking/exercise area for four legged campers! The store is beautiful. We purchased a few items (as always when we boondock in a commercial lot). Lots of food options (including the Cabelas cafe-which we would have used but it was closed).

The lot is huge, well off the main roads, and the night we stayed (a Sunday in July), there were only 3 other RVs in the lot with us. I did not count the spaces, but it looked like there'd be room for at least 30-40 units when full. The parking spaces are double wide, so we were able to open our slides. The parking spaces are double wide, so we were able to open our slides. The lot is for RVs only, so there were no trucks idling next to us throughout the night, although one of our our RV neighbors ran a generator for a few hours.
There is fresh water and a dump station in the adjacent lot for big rigs, and restaurants, coffee, gas/convenience store within walking distance. There is even a restaurant inside the Cabela's, but it was closed when we arrived, otherwise we would have happily "paid" for our parking privileges by dining there.
It is basically the anti-Walmart of boondocking. Cabela's really got it right, and we will plan future travels to include their locations whenever possible!
