Access to the Campground (CG) was easy and we parked in front of the office for check in. Interestingly, we were greeted from what we called “trailer row” by a waving toddler in his birthday suite while his two siblings loudly cried. We normally pick KOAs for overnighters as they are usually consistent for fairly level, easy pull throughs, and a pleasant experience. We had reserved a FHU 50 AMP pull through and were assigned site 74 near the front entrance. We could not pick a site when we reserved, just amenities. Unfortunately, due to the the tight turn and fire pit we could not get into the site. As this was the Thursday after Labor Day the CG was pretty much empty. We let the office know we could not get into 74 and we would gladly take one of the sites farther back in the campground with privacy. The person said no problem changing, and asked if we minded a back in, which we said no problem. We were then assigned site 37 in “trailer row” right by the office. When we realized where we were going, we were not happy, but were tired of dealing with the situation and wanted to get settled. We quickly figured out that backing was not going to be easy because we had pulled in too close to the fence opposite, but we were able to move a picnic table in the site behind 37 and pull in straight that way. Site 37 shares a water spigot unit with three other sites as many sites do in this CG. We hooked up the cable, which had fuzzy pictures and limited stations. The picnic table on our site had seen better days and had a cut off water bottle with some liquid in it probably to catch insects. There was also garbage in our site. This KOA has great potential, but lacked upkeep in amenities. The website and the brochure we received at check in portray the CG as much better than reality, but does show the potential of this park. There was quite a bit of road noise from the nearby highway that lasted all night.

This place is not "nice," but has a ton to do for the kids. Everything actually. Except for a pool. But there is a water slide. Arcade, fishing lake, mini golf, soccer field. They do it up on Halloween. Staff was very nice and friendly.

Saturday and Sunday was a zoo, there were kids playing and riding bikes everywhere. You have to actively watch so you don't hit one. With that many people and as few shower facilities as they have I am glad we weren't tent camping. The campground Wi-Fi was pretty much unavailable because of the traffic on it.
By Monday afternoon until Friday afternoon the park had empty out to large extent so it wasn't so bad. The Wi-Fi was accessible mostly.
If I had been camping with small children and unconcerned about Wi-Fi I would rate this campground much higher. They have a lot to do for kids and their ice cream stand serves good ice cream in large portions.
Our site was very level and large enough you didn't feel like you were on top your neighbor like another KOA that we stayed at. I would however chose a site that isn't next to a cabin as the two different groups staying in them seemed to be a bit louder.
Water pressure was lower than I would like but acceptable. The power did go off for a short period one night.
All in all it was ok and I would stay there again because it has a good cell phone signal and is close to family so I can work while visiting and not burn vacation days.
If I was going for purely pleasure I wouldn't stay here again. I don't need the children's amenities and the price is quite high.
**Update 6/26/2018 stayed there again while visiting family and while most of what I said previously still holds true I would have to say that cleanliness has dropped noticeably. The trash cans were frequently over flowing and trash that blew up on to other sites didn't get cleaned up for more than a day. Additionally, the pet waste bag dispensers didn't get refilled. I might have to consider another option for next year given the price.
