We spent one night as a stop over while heading north up Hwy 95. We were the first one's there and had our choice to any spot. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of this random pond by the highway and even more surprised to hear there is fishing. We spent one night as a stop over while heading north up Hwy 95. We were the first one's there and had our choice to any spot. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of this random pond by the highway and even more surprised to hear there is fishing. We didn't fish but did see some local fisherman cast in the early morning. Standard Hwy noise but perfect spot as a overnighter.

Overall Rating
Free. Right along side US Hwy 95 a couple of miles south of Beatty, NV, this dispersed site in very convenient while traveling. A small pond and an old mine are the attractions but nothing special. Evidence of lots of wild burros but we didn't see any.
