We stayed on site 12 for three nights and absolutely loved it. This resort is centrally located for all the waterfall sightseeing you could want. The resort is clean, fun, and worth a try for sure.

This is our second year at this campground. It was previously called Riverbend RV Resort. It was bought out this year and the name changed to Blue Ridge Falls RV Resort. Previous management ran the campground with dictatorship control. Every day was a pins and needles experience. The New Owners are such a breath of fresh air!!! They are always smiling and happy to assist with any issue. You actually feel like you are on vacation!!!! The campground is shady and has spacious lots. There is a creek that runs along half of the campground. There is a nightly get together at their beautiful pavilion. Also, The new owners are implementing new technology, kid’s playground and lots of other great additions! Blue Ridge Falls is a hidden gem and we’re so glad we found it!!!!

Just met Adam and Melissa the new owners. Immediately booked for October. We had a great stay this weekend and they were very accommodating. Don’t miss this gem. It’s our new go to place. Can’t say enough about their attitude. Sites are all good and the camp feeling is really unique.

New owners! Owners are working hard to build back up business. Gravel level sites. Sites back up to either the creek or woods. Lots of privacy. Gatherings at the pavilion with a fire pit every night at 5:00. Lots to do in the area. Gorges State park is 3.6 miles down the road with beautiful waterfalls. Hiking, biking, and restaurants. ... more

The manager of Riverbend is rude, condescending, and disrespectful. We've visited delightful RV parks across the country, and I don't use these terms lightly. Believe the 1-star reviews and take your business elsewhere.

Last fall, we visited FHU campgrounds in the mountains of NC to choose where we wanted to book a month next summer. River Bend was clean and very nice. The website says they have gatherings which appealed to me. I asked the lady at the desk about it and she said those folks had been coming there for years and I got the strong impression it was a closed group. She was not at all welcoming. We got the feeling we were wasting her time. The real killer was the pet policy. I understand cleaning up after my pets and I always do that. She said that dogs couldn't pee except on the other side of the creek and I would have to carry my 50 pound dog across a bridge to assure she didn't urinate. How bizarre is that? My husband and I left at that point feeling uneasy and baffled at her behavior. We wondered how one could run a business like that. In my opinion, this place is NOT the best NC RV resort for NC 2021.

Beautiful and clean facility. The bath house was closed due to COVID but we are self contained and did not need it. Social hour every night should you choose to go to it. The WiFi was strong and the spot was clean and level. The owners were super and everyone was friendly.
