Free campground, easy access right off the highway, pit toilets and covered picnic tables. Lots of space, not all with Hut though. When we arrived at 6.30pm only one hut space left but plenty of other spots. I don't know if it was that day but the Wind was intense

Each site has its own space, quit far from each other, we enjoyed our stay a lot. Our site was close to the highway and we could see the traffic, but noise was not an issue at all.

This is a great free campground. Zero hookups, so either bring your water or use the dump station at the Lewis and Clark campground right across the dam. Cost to dump is $10 and water fill is $5. Pay at the self-pay/registration sign in the Lewis and Clark campground. There is no potable water at the dump station. If you pull straight ahead out of the dump station, you can use one of the spigots that is low to the ground to fill your fresh water. If you have questions, ask the camp hosts. They're great!
You can stay here for 14 days and then move to another of the several BOR campgrounds around the lake for 16 days, and then return to this campground. Cheap living!
Don't arrive after dark expecting to find a prime spot. This place is pretty popular.

This is the second time we’ve camped and wanted to give a 2023 update, 14 night max stay, excellent cell service, dry camping with 20 spots, vaulted toilet, boat launch, close to the town of Dillon, MT, right off the highway but quite with beautiful reservoir views.

Traveling from the Spokane Valley to Moab, Utah, we stopped at Beaverhead Campground overnight. What a find! We arrived about 5L15, and there were still plenty of sites to choose from. (October 20) More rigs rolled in later, but I don't think it was full. Our site has a firepit, a pavilion with a concrete floor for the picnic table and an AWESOME view of the reservoir. The gravel pad was almost level and the jacks easily took care of that. As noted by a number of reviewers, there is highway noise from Interstate 15, which runs adjacent to the campground. But removing my hearing aids took care of any danger of sleep depredation. No utilities, but this is pretty cushy boondocking.
The place is immaculately clean, beautiful and FREE!

still lots of places (granted it is the end of Sept). We
needed a spot for the weekend on our way back from
Canada/northern MT headed towards Jackson. Great
gravel road all throughout. Right off the interstate so
there is some noise. Super easy access for all sizes I'd

shelter with picnic tables. There is a manual hand water
pump and pit toilets. Honestly, this is a great free
campground! you can stay for 14 days.
Pretty good cell reception.

We needed a place to sleepover on our drive back to Colorado. A few well spaced campsites. The most mosquitoes I have ever experienced.
