Bains' RV Park

This campground is basically a flat spot on the side of the hill that was turned into a campground with approximately 20 spaces.

If connectivity is important to you, this is what you get...you are just on the fringe of the Verizon cell reception area. So instead your cell phone will be using Canadian cell towers, which is fine if you have a plan that works in Canada. The WiFi here worked well with only eight of the sites occupied.

Do not rely on your GPS routing you to the place, you will end up on roads that are mere dirt paths. Instead, follow the signs to the RV Park.

The owners are nice. Payment is cash only. The rates posted on the door are for 30 amp sites. They tack on another $5 for 50 amp service. There are full hookups at every sites.

The sites are gavel with green grass between. The grass is watered regularly so it's lush. There are no picnic tables or fire rings. Any trees present are saplings.

The laundry room had one washer and dryer that worked just fine. I didn't check out the restrooms but assume they were as clean as the rest of the place.

This was an OK place to stay for a couple of nights. But I think next time I would try the Veterans Memorial Park in the town of Oroville so I could use Verizon data and not rely on Canadian cell phone towers across the border.
