Windhaven RV Resort

This is a very nice campground. Staff was helpful and friendly. It was windy the 3 days we were there but close enough to the grand Tetons. Laundry facilities were clean as well as bathrooms. They had free music on Thursday night and we’re having music and ice cream on Sunday. Pretty small campground but the sites are big. Basic campground

This was a perfect overnight stay for us on the way to Grand Tetons.
Entire campground was heavy with gravel, no mud or dust. Our site was level next to the dog park area.
Restrooms were large/roomy. They would be great for family with little ones. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
If in the area we would stay here in the future.

This is a very nice park in a beautiful scenic area. It is well signed from the highway. The folks in the office were all super friendly. The park is immaculately maintained, with wide roads for easy navigation in any size rig. Roads and sites are crushed stone. Sites are large with a picnic table and fire pit. Most sites are full sun. We had site 19 on the edge of the park so we had some afternoon shade from trees on the property next door. All utilities worked as expected. We had good T-Mobile signal and the park WiFi was excellent. There is a large fenced grassy dog park. The laundry was clean and modern. We weren’t bothered by road noise. The town of Dubois is just a few minutes away for shopping and restaurants. We had excellent pizza from Noon Rock Pizza and the fish and chips from the Cowboy Cafe was some of the best we’ve had. The nearby military museum is top notch. Whatever you do, don’t miss the Dubois rodeo on Friday night. We really enjoyed this park and the Dubois area. We would definitely return.

The owner accommodated me last minute and I was lucky to get the riverfront corner lot the first night. So beautiful! They have an ice cream social on Sundays so you can meet your neighbors over several flavors and a ton of toppings! Owners are friendly, helpful, and just lovely to chat with.

Right next door is a paved walk along the river to a pond. I was sorry to miss the rodeo on Fridays!

Could not get my internet to work but the campground wifi was excellent, I was able to work and do zoom calls without any issue. *I used a Alpha Camp Pro to boost their internet.

We are staying for a extended period while our home is under construction nearby. We chose the park for the amenities, location, price, internet and of course the owner and staff. We are in a pull in river site. The Wind River is just outside our front window. It’s gorgeous! The owner adores our four-legged companion and it’s obvious the feeling is mutual. The dog park is large enough for everyone and the dogs run and play every evening. It’s so much fun to watch them. Come and stay here. You won’t be disappointed.
