Zeigler Park

Here we found a one square block city park with mown grass, tennis courts, a picnic shelter, and a children's playground. There were 3 electrical outlets lined up along the street that formed the western boundary. A sign said camping with a fee (either 5 or 10 dollars, I can't remember) that would be picked up by the police patrol. No one ever stopped to collect the fee. The 20 amp outlets worked fine.

A building in the park presumably contained toilet facilities but they were locked. But then we never paid either.

Neighbors walking dogs were very friendly. The only negative was the close proximity of a mainline railroad track.
