The lower campground is a beautifully laid out campsite area, dry camping and tents. Upper campsites are a bit cozy with perimeter trees but river view not seen except by pathways. Price reflects Douglas County discount for Vets with service connected disabilities. 10 free nights a year with a $20 booking fee. You must call to make reservations. You can get the pass through Oregon.gov. I don't believe they require you to be an Oregon resident. This is a quiet County Park that feels remote but is not too far ... more

I would call this an average county campground. The sites are gravel and mostly level. During our stay the grass was tall in the campground and in the disc golf course. The host campsites were not marked so it was difficult to know who was hosting. The hosts do not sell firewood. We stayed a couple nights at site 44 in the upper cam... more
