Westwind RV Park

I agree with most of what the previous reviewer said except... Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a plate of eggs and produce on our table each morning along with bottles of water. Hookups worked well. Starlink was intermittent as was the WiFi, but our cellular coverage was also problematic. Bathrooms and laundry were clean. Noise was not bad until early in the morning when all the workers staying in the hotel fired up their trucks.

They advertise satellite internet, but it doesn't work, we were told because the owners don't know how to hook it up. So no, they DO NOT have satellite internet. Luckily, it's close enough to town that we had 5G on AT&T and Verizon, so I could at least work.

This place is populated mostly by permanent, beat up-looking trailers, out back behind the Days Inn. Dirt and gravel sites are super-close together, and not even a gesture toward privacy with trees or bushes. The kicker for us was, the on-site camp host doesn't speak English. At all. We were lucky that the non-resident camp host happened by; the comedy of errors that ensued from their arguing with each other while simultaneously ignoring each other was, at least, amusing.

We needed a place to do laundry and resupply, but I wouldn't stay here again even for that. We didn't check out the washrooms, but if the state of the grounds is any indication, that'd be a strong No. Give it a miss.
