Overall Rating

To reach these sites once must first turn onto RT 24. It is a well graded, gravel based road that winds through the country side. It has ample opportunities for camping along its length. This road can be taken by any vehicle due to its strong base and maintenance. There is a warning at the entry of the road, but this in regards to winter conditions. This road is gated and will be closed during poor conditions.

After the first bend, on the left one will see a slight incline onto a spur. The first site is immediately at the turn and can easily fit a medium sized rig. It is fairly level, shaded, and has a fire ring. Past this site, down the hill some is a large sunny pull through site.

The route continues down the slope from here and can retain water in the late winter and early spring. As it turns north there is a small back-in site on the right side of the road, shaded by a large tree. As you continue into the valley, the road does degrade some, and there are spurs to the right and left with more sites in full sun.

The area has no cellular connection.
