We needed a place to stop near 90 and couldn’t have lucked out more. Easy road, a lot newly paved, shade and water. The dogs loved it. We camped in a truck-camper, F250 diesel.

Stopped here on our way west for an overnight landing. Cell service exists enough. Beautiful plains and canyon views.

Great free camping near Salida, Colorado. 360 views of the mountains and some trees for shade. Typically within earshot of another camp though during peak season.
