Tried to access this spot and the gate was closed. The West Dry Lake gate was open and a good overnight!

I’ve stayed overnight here on two separate occasions now. Both times I had no issues and felt safe. I had no cell reception on the Northbound side but I was able to get a signal at the Southbound rest area where I also stayed a night.

I stayed here overnight when passing through. No issues and I felt safe. I had a couple bars of Verizon.
