The views of the falls are spectacular. But pulling in a trailer is difficult. The road is in bad shape with deep potholes covered by water. There is also trees that will scrape your trailer or RV. Better suited for tents or small motorhomes...
This is a nice place on the river. The access could be a problem for 5th wheels as there is a significant drop. But for a travel trailer or smaller motorhome no problem.
This place has better service than most National Forest Campgrounds. And it is free. Most of the spots have a nice view of the river. We stayed there on a Saturday. Arrived around noon and was lucky to get the last spot.
The first Site down to the lake has only room for 4-5 RVs. If full continue straight 300m instead of going right down to the lake you find an open spot with much more space. Road is a little bit rough. But no problem if you go slow.
Visited in off season. No charge. Only 5 more RVs in the park.
Excellent T-Mobile 5G connection.
Verizon worked as well, but slower speed.
