We only needed an overnight stay for full hookups so we did not use any of the numerous amenities. Roads & sites were concrete & utilities were well placed & worked well. There is a restaurant within the park that delivers to your site.
Noise level was OK for a major city.

I began my 3 month RVing/remote working adventure here. The location of the campground between a lot of RV stores (like Camping World) and amid a lot of RV technicians allowed me to get some things fixed at the start of my trip easily and to purchase a new sewer hose, etc. Though sites are close, each has a fruit tree and bush, and I liked my site at the end of a row. Mary the bartender at BBQ Rush was excellent, laundry facilities adequate, and I liked having a treadmill I could use when the weather wasn't great. Good people watching. Some of the areas are very funny - the nature pond dyed blue surrounded by razor wire, etc., but ya know. They generally do a good job and I'm glad I stayed here. Got 200+ Mpbs speeds here with Starlink.

We followed the website instructions to the campground (CG) by taking I-10 Exit 164B versus our RV GPS and Waze, which wanted us to get off sooner. After driving that route while staying here, we discovered that route would have been good as well. Check-in was easy and informative. We then drove ourselves to FHU pull-through site 1505 with a patio and fire feature. We maneuvered to get our 10’ sewer hose to fit between our two dump valves as the utilities are centered on the pad. This KOA is a true resort with major amenities, such as a pool, putt-putt golf course, pickleball, restaurant, and planned activities. At check-in we received a Tengo Internet WiFi code, so we tried it out. We were able to do sporadic email and texting. We used our Starlink the rest of the time as we were able to get a good shot of the north sky. We got 5 bars on Verizon. Water pressure in our site was good at about 50 psi. As we are dog people, we enjoyed walking our pups to the fenced dog areas and letting them run. In the front of the CG by the gate there’s a huge 1 to 2-acre fenced dog park. In the northwest corner of the CG, there’s another, but much smaller, fenced dog area, and then another even smaller fenced dog area around the corner from our site. They have a variety of sites with various amenities. As we have family in the area, we would stay here again. The next time we would get one of the sites with a fenced dog area, such as 1476-1479, which has a fire feature and a fenced Paw Pen around the patio. There are covered sites under the solar panels, but we would avoid those areas as pigeons are roosting above. Four RV techs were staying at the CG with signs in front of their campsites while we were there. The week in January we were here, we were able to get some work done on short notice. The CG website has good pics of their wide variety of sites and an expandable site map that identifies amenities. We are not normally high-dollar “resort” campers, but this CG was impressive.

This KOA location has a very weird vibe to it and we were less than impressed. We booked a standard back in site and were given a site along the southern perimeter. First impressions were poor given the fact that we picked up enough garbage from our site to fill a small bag, they don't do any cleanup of the sites between guests which we observed during our stay. The park appears to have quite a few long term residents which is fine however many of these sites have possessions strewn everywhere and is quite an eyesore. One site we walked past had a dog tied by cable to an old tire and rim and this dog went crazy barking, snarling and lunging into the roadway at anyone walking past, this was noted everyday and all day, no idea where the owners were. The park management doesn't seem to do anything about enforcement of rules so these kinds of things just continue. Noise, if you like quiet this isn't your place, traffic noise, sirens, planes, helicopters, kids, dogs, you name it, very loud here. A note about the neighborhood, the resort is surrounded by a high wall and razor wire and I understand why, it's located in a very run down area. If you take a bike ride on the nearby Julian Wash Greenway you will see hundreds of homeless people living under every underpass, quite sad and disturbing really. We had to extend our stay by one night which we visited the front desk to do the last morning of our scheduled Stat, about 30 mins later I received a text message from the resort offering 25% off to extend our stay, this was not given to us when we had just extended nor would they refund the difference to us when we requested it, very poor customer service. The resort has a BBQ restaurant on site which was, of course, overpriced and the food was very bland. Overall I would recommend finding somewhere else to stay, we won't be back.

Used to be THE go to place in Tucson but recent rate increases make it much less so. Couple this with false advertising on prices and you have a new "stay the heck away" spot! I don't mind rate increases per se but KOA's false advertizing and lies make this unacceptable!
It’s a nice park and the elite won’t care but prices have increased a LOT the past year. Spots I used to get at $65 a night now over $100! Even the middle of summer covered spots over $100 a night and not ¼ full!
I HAD to be there this month and was checking rates and opted for cheapest and will run AC. I found some back-ins they said average $50 a night. So I made plans and then came back for reservations. Well 5 nights came to $280….If I recall basic math should have been $250, but 3 nights were $60 and 2 nights $50 which is $56 a night! The original price quote of $50 night was after I chose dates.
VERY simple computer calculations that are intentionally skewed to rip you off.
Calling up the agents go silent when asked about this so trained NOT to deal with it.
Used to let you pick a spot or area you wanted to be in at no charge, now $50 for the privilege!
Plus Tucson tax is like 11% on top!
As I said USED to be the best spot in Tucson but new management is dishonest and taking advantage of RV’ers! Avoid if possible! I’ve stayed there a dozen times and spent $1000’s there but after this stay NO WAY! Bring back whoever was in charged before and dump this MBA squeeze every cent clown to the curb QUICK!

I haven’t stayed in many KOA campgrounds, but this is by far my favorite. They have a variety of RV campsites (according to their map 16 types). Back in, pull through, covered, patio sky decks, paw pens, buddy sites, grass, young explorer, fire features, etc. In addition, they have cabins and tent sites as well. Prices vary greatly by site type.
The campground has 2 pools, pickleball courts, a fitness room, a BBQ restaurant, nature pond, mini golf, playground, tiny library, small store, multiple pet areas, restrooms, showers, laundry rooms, community fire pits, and other activities.
Site 1555 was a standard back in spot (I think it’s their cheapest). Site has rocks with a concrete patio, wrought iron picnic table with chairs, and an asphalt pad in front of the concrete. Some people park their vehicles on the asphalt pad, others park on the rocks between the concrete pad and the neighbors RV. There’s also fruit trees at many of the sites. Campers are allowed to pick the fruit. In fact, they had a box up near the office with free fruit for people to grab. For being a private park the space between the sites seems adequate. Utilities worked well. When you need to dispose of trash just bag it up and put it out at your site. Staff members pick up trash throughout the day.
Good Verizon signal. Was able to talk, text, search internet, and stream videos.
I wish I had more time to spend here on this trip. I’ll definitely stay here again in the future. Also, there is access to the 131 mile Tucson Bike Loop near the campground.

The site was gravel & level with a cement patio with a patio set. While the rest of the park was full, we had no neighbors. Our site had citrus trees with lemons & grapefruits. The smell was wonderful. We had full hook ups. Cable TV didn't work great, but the internet connection was good. This property has 2 swimming pools, 2 laundry rooms, playgrounds, huge dog park, basketball court and I'm sure more that I didn't check out. Sunday morning they had a pancake breakfast. We didn't try the BBQ restaurant. We were close enough to downtown to drive in for a folk music festival. Wanted to mention that check in was busy so they were asking the drivers to stay with the rig and have the passenger go in to register. Very organized and easy.

On the industrial side of the highway so the surrounding area is very commercial, lots of barb-wire, lots of questions. However, not once did we feel uneasy about our stay. The park and staff were EXTREMELY friendly! Sites were mostly level and very clean. We chose one of the dog fenced sites with fire pit. It was very convenient with dog fencing, table/chairs and bench around of the fire pit. This made setting up and breaking down very easy. Two pools and very very dog accommodating. Trash pickup multiple times a day was great. Restaurant on site had great pizza and wings. Will stay here again the next time we visit the area for sport or play.
