“Excellent City Camping”

Reviewed Feb 12, 2018

Overall Rating

If you have business in Tucson and want a convenient place to stay with your RV, this place is for you. We were here for the Tuscon Rock and Gem Show in early February and it worked out perfectly. This is city camping and most campgrounds in urban areas will really pack you in. We stayed in a basic pull-through site and found the sites... more

“Nicest KOA we’ve stayed at”

Reviewed Dec 20, 2017

Overall Rating

Rate reflects KOA discount card. We don’t stay at a lot of KOAs but this one is impressive. Gavel sites with a paved patio area. Full hook ups and slow WiFi. Sites are close but not too cramped. They seem to be angled in a way so you are NOT staring at your neighbor’s hookups. Throughout the park there are orange, lemon and... more

Bought our RV at Lazy Days this past Spring, used a gift certificate to stay free the first night. In the morning we had some warranty work done in their service dept. that took most of the day. This KOA campground has it all, free wifi for 30 days, clean, friendly workers. They have a restaurant specializing BBQ right on the campus th... more

I stayed here for Alumafiesta and it served it's purpose. There were plenty of amenities, including pools and workout room. Full hook ups and level sites. Great for group gatherings. Easy to get to. Nice staff. Everything you could ask for. Except for nature. Liked the fact you could pick fruit from the trees around you.

“Great Safe Place to Camp Right in Tucson”

Reviewed Mar 29, 2017

Overall Rating

We stayed at the Lazy Days KOA for an entire year while wrapping up work in the Tucson area. Our pros: 1. Close to everything including work for us 2. Great amenities (showers, pools, laundry, citrus trees in the spring!) 3. Neighborhood feel so no issues with fellow campers and safe to walk around in the park at night Our cons: ... more

“A Good spot to stay while visiting Tuscon”

Reviewed Feb 24, 2017

A nice urban RV site and much nicer than most KOA's. The place has every park feature you could think of, mostly catering to Class A's but all others are here too. While the surrounding neighborhood is sketchy after dark, it's fine during the day. It's right next to Lazydays RV if you need service etc. I think we had one of the best sp... more

This is a great park with wide sites, chairs and table, and resort amenities including a pool and fitness area. Plus large dog area where my dog got to chase the ball and play with other dogs. “An urban parking lot”

Reviewed May 21, 2016

Overall Rating

This KOA is across the street from our dealer and is connected to the Lazy Days in Tucson. This is a HUGE parking lot campground, not an oasis in the desert but rather an urban parking lot conveniently located next to multiple RV dealers. That being said, our one night there was fantastic. We didn't get to use the dog run but our ... more

First the good stuff: This RV park is quite large, very clean, and well laid-out, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The dog park is HUGE and we used it every day. “Less like a campground, more like a very clean neighborhood.”

Reviewed Mar 05, 2016

Overall Rating

This is a very quiet and clean KOA. The laundry facility, pool, playground and dog park are all awesome. My kids loved picking lemons from the trees between campsites. There's not much here in the way of nature or "real" camping, but we were visiting family for a week and it was an easy place to stay.
