We stayed here during Memorial Day weekend as it was one of the only Campgrounds that had an opening within an hour from Portland.

The Campground itself is located in a small shopping center. It is more of a parking lot than anything else. Sites are VERY thin and close together. Opening your awning or parking your vehicle next to your RV is a task if at all possible.

The website states that all sites have picnic tables. This was not the case. We were originally slotted in space 43 and asked to move after 1 night because our space was all asphalt and didn't even have a picnic table. The host up front actually laughed when I asked and said "Yea not all spaces come with tables" even though the site clearly states they do. It just felt deceitful.

I would recommend asking for a site along the perimeters of the campground as this is your only chance of having grass as your site as well as any personal space to sit outside. Otherwise you are practically sitting in the streets.

Another note, you are located right off the 5 freeway so the campground is extremely noisy with traffic sounds.

On the other hand, the facilities were very nice. The bathrooms and showers were kept very clean. The laundry room had machines that held very large loads and worked efficiently. Its $2.50 for a 30 minute wash and 60 minute dry. I did 3 loads of laundry while there and was very pleased with the experience.

There is a pizza place and a few other food places in the same shopping center. There are 2 gas stations within 2-5 miles as well. You are about a 30 minute drive from Portland and 20 minutes from Vancouver.

All in all, I would not stay here again. It was VERY pricey for what you are getting.

“Cute place with easy access to Vancouver and Ridgefield”

If you're looking for a park that's near Vancouver/Portland but out of the city's hustle and bustle, this might be a good choice for you.

It's a standard RV park with some limited privacy between spots. We found the sites to be plenty long enough for our setup. The park is right off the highway and adjacent to a small shopping center with a few restaurants. There's a vineyard within biking distance, and once you're out on the country roads around the park, you can see the mountains in the distance on clear days. On the other side of the highway is Ridgefield, which is a super-cute little town with a small grocery store, shopping, restaurants, and a fantastic city park. Of course, Vancouver and Portland are also a short drive away, with their many amenities.

There are several large green areas for the dogs (although none are off-leash), as well as a picnic/grilling area in the middle of the park.

The only somewhat-difficult thing can be access, as the park shares an entrance with the shopping center. You're fine unless there's a large truck unloading, in which case, you'll have to skirt around it.

The staff was super kind and helpful, and they went above and beyond to help us when a package we had ordered arrived too late, shipping it to our next destination for the. Great experience with the staff!
