What a great Campground! We went the first weekend in October and it was beautiful. The falls colors really brightened up the area. There are many hiking trails around the Campground. We went with a group of people with kids age ranging from 2-13. The hike is manageable with all of them if you're prepared.
Our site was surprisingly pretty level. It was very large too. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. There are 2 pit bathrooms, one near site 5&6. The other was down below when you first enter the site. There wasn't any water that came out of the spicket, but there was one. Maybe the time of year.
To get to the Campground you drive on a 14 mile gravel road. It get pretty bumpy the last 2 miles. It was $10/night, first come first served. You pay in an envelope at a self serve pay box. There wasn't any cell service either. The Campground was pretty busy, I was surprised. But we would absolutely stay again!
