We also had some mechanical issues and had to extend our stay. Dawn and Mark could not have been more helpful. And although Thousand Trails is a pain to reach, they assisted as well. Best Campground materials we have received anywhere! Had restaurants and businesses but also nearby urgent care and veterinary services! Whoever created the materials - and extra shoutout!

Stayed early February 2022. Our site was adjacent to club house. Several nights during our stay, large groups used the club house for loud parties. This might have been an equal sacrifice for the convenience of the laundry room. But for the past four months, the laundry has been unavailable due to reconstruction. Most of the campground was long term residence. Utilizes were in good shape. No problems with water, sewer and cable TV. Sites were a bit tight and roads are very narrow. Only a few sites are big rig friendly. Park could use an infusion of capital to bring it forward from 1970. Great proximity to Tomoka State Park and Daytona area. Park is widely used for Bike Week and related parties.

Rate reflect Thousand Trails and The Trails Collection membership. The grounds, including the pool and club house are great, and the staff is friendly and most helpful. Great location convenient to Ormond Beach as well as Daytona, and Daytona Beach and it is right next door to Destination Daytona the Harley dealership and all the stores and restaurants. Verizon as well as ATT data screams with over 25 mgps speeds.
The down side is; ½ the park is taken by full time park models and campers, as well as another 1/4 of the park is taken by seasonal multi month campers. As such this leaves only about 20% of the park for Thousand Trail Trails Collection members and public. Noise is what can be expected for an urban RV resort.

Stayed a single night en transit and as a part of thousand trails.
As mentioned in other reviews, thousand trails members apparently are put in the trailer home section and we in particular were in a tiny and awkward back in spot that was arms length away from the common area building. As a result, there was very little in the way of scenery, space, or privacy.
The great sense of community amongst the residents was a slight saving grace but we would aim to stay elsewhere on our next time through the area.

There are two main circles. The first circle seems to be where the campers are and the second circle is where the full time trailer homes are. We stayed as Thousand Trail members and were placed between two full time homes in the second circle. It was quiet and we had full hook ups. Felt a bit awkward though being on that side. My site was paved but there were lots of ants so doing yoga outside was unpleasant.
Pool was by the office. Looked nice but didn’t have a chance to use it.
The laundry room/showers/bathroom were all under construction in the second circle during my stay. There is another laundry room in the pool area but you have to buy a $5 laundry card and then load money on to the card. I opted to do laundry at a laundromat in town.
Dog run area is okay but run down.
Good access to town and beaches. The gastropub in town with the tiki bar area in the back had good food!
Overall the park is a bit run down but people were nice and I liked the location.

If you have to go there, try to avoid the place where people live permanently and, as their brochure says, lock or keep an eye on your stuff.

We are Thousand Trails members and reserved our spot a couple months prior to arriving. We arrived after hours and grabbed our paperwork from the board outside. We scoped out the site and it was muddy and lacked sewer. The paperwork said "first come, first serve" so we figured we could ask for a move in the morning. The front desk was friendly but laughed and said they never move people. "It would take us moving 1000 people to get you hookups." That math seems exaggerated, but we still made it work. We dumped the night we arrived at the dump station near our site. And the sewer truck came by on Tuesday. Just inconvenient that we had reserved full hookups and were limited in doing laundry (we have on-board laundry) and short showers as though we were dry camping in the middle of a bunch of full hookup sites around us.
The pool was closed for maintenance (just looked dirty full of leaves so not sure what the maintenance was for). The mini golf looks ok from the road but it's in sad shape. The playground is colorful but hasn't been updated in at least a decade. The tennis court was nice.
The campground smelled like sewage at times when we walked around. Pretty sure at one point our neighbor (also no sewer hookup) was dumping his grey tank. Probably didn't help our soggy, muddy site.
The sites are a bit tricky to get into. All sites are located in a circle but the roads are narrow and the sites are positioned around the circle which means the front sides are tighter together and that's where most people park. It took us 20 minutes to take a 100 point turn to finally get level and close to the water spigot.
It was nice to have a "free" spot to stay so we could check out nearby Daytona Beach, but this is not a place I would recommend to other Thousand Trails members unless you can get a guaranteed full hookup site or Elite site with a cement pad.
Most of our neighbors were Canadian. Like out of the 20 RVs around us, 18 were from Canada. That was kinda fun. Not sure if it's normal but a lot of the people around us also drove motorcycles. So we would get a lot of loud motorcycle noises early in the morning, throughout the day and late at night (like starting at 7am and after midnight). Not really that terrible, just a bit startling to have a motorcycle start and rev up a few feet away from you when you're falling asleep!
We also had several neighbors smoking marijuana so we didn't love letting our kids play outside around the rig.

Able to see the Atlantic with easy access to Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, and our favorite, Saint Augustine. Could also access Space Coast/Palm Coast and others if you desire. The site has several restaurants and shops within a walkable distance. A very busy, nearly full campground; we sat next to one of the few empty sites. We also had a non-sewer hook-up, but they provided a euphemistically-named Honey Wagon to dump our tanks twice a week, so not a problem. Lots of seasonal/year-round campers here w/ many Canadians making for good conversations about travels.
