Just basic place. Close to RR tracts and highway. Noise not bad, train doesn’t blow horns near the park.

Overall Rating
Sunset is one of the lower priced parks but it is very run down with some long term units in such bad shape they require tarps (some no longer viable) to keep the rain out. The washers and dryers were no longer available and the store/restaurant just down the road is permanently closed. Our electrical hook up plug-in was completely wor... more
Sunset is one of the lower priced parks but it is very run down with some long term units in such bad shape they require tarps (some no longer viable) to keep the rain out. The washers and dryers were no longer available and the store/restaurant just down the road is permanently closed. Our electrical hook up plug-in was completely worn out and would not even hold our plug. The host was on top of it and had it replaced within a few minutes. If you need a safe place to park and sleep, this should be fine. Just don't expect anything more. We stayed one night in a 31' motorhome and used only the electrical hook up.

The Good Price, 22.50 w 10% discount. Very friendly staff. Free washers and dryers. The Bad Gravel sites, some very small and tight, many unlevel. Several RV's from the stone age are here. No cable, wifi not the greatest. The Ugmo Trains are loud, frequent, and very close. If you can sleep through a cataclysm they shoul... more

The Bad
Gravel sites, some very small and tight, many unlevel. Several RV's from the stone age are here. No cable, wifi not the greatest.
The Ugmo
Trains are loud, frequent, and very close. If you can sleep through a cataclysm they shouldn't bother you. Highway noise. even had a helicopter in the night. Park is next to 2 highways. One shower stall. Not pretty. Took a look and said sayonara.
