St. Johns Campground

We had an awful experience, Spring 2023. I called for a monthly spot and they informed me that they were working on building new spots. We agreed on a tentative date to stay there monthly with a follow-up a week prior to see if they would have a spot ready. To hold spot I gave a deposit which was also agreed would be refunded if needed to be cancelled by either party. I was not called from the initial agreement. So I called after multiple messages I finally received a call back from Mike the manager and would not refund my money because "they needed the money". He became irate and hung up on me. I left messages for owner to call me back and have not received a phone call back. My husband called and Mike was very nasty to him as well.
